Left/Removed Item Detection

Our left/removed item detection algorithm finds persistent changes in the background. This allows for detection of items removed or added to the background. You can use this algorithm for detecting:

• Abandoned baggage at airports, train stations etc.
• Removed items at retail store shelves.
• Illegal parking of vehicles. These are videos from the iLids data set.
